The little brother to the KatanaBoy, the AEV BigBoy will be right at home under the seat of your Jeep, but is also small enough to packed on a motorcycle or snowmobile. With 5.5 teeth per inch and a rubber-cushioned, double-fist handle, you’ll have all the cutting power you need to clear a trail or cut firewood, all in a compact package.
The AEV BigBoy features a low angle curve, hard chrome-plated blade that is well suited for cutting cutting branches and climbs. Its well-balanced, taper-ground blade with impulse-hardened non-set tooth design provides an extended working reach, faster cutting and handles large limbs and small trunks with no effort. The non-slip two-handed rubberized cushioned handle provides a sure and comfortable grip even in the most difficult 4WD conditions. The AEV BigBoy is the ideal multi-purpose folding saw for cutting big jobs down to size.
Always hold the wood firmly before your cut. Start by lightly dragging the blade towards you. Do not press down hard. This is not necessary and will only jam the teeth. Gently slide the blade forward. Do not push hard. The blade may flex and break. Apply gentle power to the pull stroke – LET THE TEETH DO THE WORK. Keep out of reach of children.
